Gothenburg, Sweden. 2012

In the store I get help from the sales clerk to try out clothes to wear to my own funeral. I ask her for a costume and a shirt that would look trendy both now and in the future. I carefully put on the purple shirt, the black costume, my fathers tie and my grandfathers shoes. When I’m properly dressed and my hair is combed, I take out a white sheet with a black coffin shape on it and place it on the ground in the middle of the shop. I then place myself on the sheet with a white rose resting on my chest. I lay in silence for a couple of minutes.
